Chuckwagon Cooking on Facebook would like to express their appreciation for the use of the above Christmas Chuckwagon scene provided by Debi Zinser,
owner of the Ranch Dressin' Chuck Wagon in Farmersville, Texas. The photo was used as the 2012 cover photo with the chuckwagon cooking group with facebook.
Cowboys and Chuckwagon Cooking along with Richard Heinicke Blacksmith are sponsoring a contest at Chuckwagon Cooking on Facebook for the 2013 cover photo. Selection will be made by the number of likes received on the photo and must be posted with the facebook group Chuckwagon Cooking.
Rules: Contestant must join chuckwagon cooking on Facebook in order to submit any photo that they feel best depicts chuckwagon cooking. Each submission must be within copyright laws, owned by the individual contestant having full legal rights to submit such picture. Any photo known to be a copy of any other members work will become disqualified.
Photo: Picture should be of any scene that expresses chuckwagon cooking. Whether a picture of cowboys around a camp fire, the pulling of a wagon team, cast iron and dutch ovens, or a coffee pot at the camp fire, the photo must depict chuckwagon cooking.
Selection: Picture will be selected by the members of Chuckwagon cooking posting the most likes by close of the contest. In invent of a tie, admin's will make their final vote to break all ties.
Submission: Photo must be submitted no later than December 25, 2012. Any picture after such dat
e will be disqualified. Submission must indicate in remarks, that it is submitted for the contest. Selection will be
done by the most
"LIKES" received at 3PM CST, December 31st.
Prizes: Photo selected for the 2013 cover will receive the first place award:
First Place award: Custom three piece Hand Forged cooking set, consisting of Copper Dipper Ladle, Fork and Spatula featuring iron long handles with rat tail curl for hanging. Each piece beautifully designed and hand forged by superior blacksmith craftsmanship of Richard Heinicke.
Second Place: Cast iron table top serving item provided by Lodge Manufacturing. Founded by Joseph Lodge in 1896, Lodge has been producing quality cookware earning many awards through the years in addition too positive reviews by Good Housekeeping and Fine Dining Magazine.
Third Place: Sweet Mom's BBQ Rubs for that perfect taste. Located in Katy, Texas, Sweet Mom's provides the perfect selection with their BBQ, Poultry, Citrus and Brisket Rubs spices that will enhance any dish.
Enter as many pictures as you like and hurry as pictures are already coming in. Then invited friends or family to join chuckwagon cooking of facebook and get the most likes to win. Members employed by Cowboys and Chuckwagon Cooking, Lodge Mfg, Richard Heinicke Blacksmith, Sweet Mom's BBQ Rubs, nor their families are eligible to participate.
